Roku client app incorrectly displays portrait pictures in landscape

The app turns every picture to landscape. Editing portrait pictures and turning the them all the way around and saving them will show them correctly. Even the "primary" picture is turned to landscape, despite portrait being correct. Having to edit every picture or taking every picture in landscape isn't how I'd like it work.

So far, I've only seen the problem in the Roku app. They show correctly in the web browser app and image editors.

I'd also like an easier way to update the data. The app shows old filenames even though the displayed pictures are correct. It also shows files and folders that have been deleted. I've backed out of the app to the main screen, but that doesn't fix the problem. Restarting the Roku will do it, but that seems unnecessarily cumbersome.

Apologies. If the web app appears differently than the Roku when showing images it is probably something we need to fix in the Roku app.

Can you show a picture of the TV screen where it has the issue? That way we can understand which screen or if this is on the row or a grid. Or where in the app this occurs if it appears lots of places can you show all those places? There are some rows which will presently load into landscape frames such as Continue Watching and Next Up. Mixed types might show up as landscape too. Knowing which screen this problem happens on will show us exactly what you mean.

Thanks.
