Live TV Mini Player while browsing

It would be nice to have the option to have what your currently watching on Live TV go in a box in the corner while you scroll through the guide or navigate other parts of Emby. I know some client allow you to have it play in the background but I would prefer a box in the corner so the video is not being obstructed in anyway. I use an Apple TV 4k and there isn't an option to have the video play in the background either but I think a mini player box option would make the most sense. If anyone ever had cable from Comcast a while ago they had a similar function and it worked great.

Yes I have, on the Apple TV 4k (which is what I mainly use) it doesn't have very many playback options. It doesn't have the play in the background option that some clients have. But I don't necessarily want the play in background option but rather a play in box option similar to the picture I attached. I think more people would prefer that over a video playing behind all the UI elements.

Hi.  Most of our apps support viewing the guide while live TV plays in the background.

Yes but at least on the Apple TV I think it can be improved, and a lot of the other clients play the video in the background rather than in a box in the corner which I think would be better. If you scroll down while watching Live TV and then scroll all the way to the right you can see the guide on the Apple TV but its a little odd to get to. I think the guide tab should be the first thing that you see when you scroll down when watching Live TV at least or we should have the ability to customize positioning of the tabs.
