Forced Direct Play for Qnap server and any device

I'm moving all my media from Plex to Emby. All my media are based on MKV container and the subtitles are all PSGSUB or DVDSUB embedded. these subtitles are not text based. I can stream on Windows and Android device by Direct Play and no transcoding or buffering. When I stream to Samsung TV it will transcode and buffer making the picture unwatchable. My Plex server has a setting named Force Direct Play and the app on the Plex app on the TV has the Force Direct Play feature as well. I don't have any transcoding on Plex server it will Direct Play and the build-in subtitles PSGSUB or DVDSUB will will play correctly without buffering. Does Emby have this feature?

Hi, Samsung does not support PGS subtitles. That other software you mentioned developed their own way to render them in the app without server transcoding. That's something we'd like to explore in future updates. Thanks.

Thanks for your response. I'm really enjoying Emby. I've just about got everything that I had on Plex moved to Emby. The flexibility of Emby is very well received.
