irenas 0 Posted January 26 Posted January 26 Good morning I have Emby (Premier) installed on my Asustor NAS. Everything works perfectly, but I installed the Emby Data Explorer plugin and... it doesn't work. That is, it just doesn't work as it should. There are no settings for this plugin, and if you use it and click "view element data," a window opens that should show the files. However, the program (Emby) provides a shortened path that only Emby understands, e.g., /share/Video/ movie name..., so Windows doesn't know where this folder is! It should be, for example, IP address/share/Video/ movie folder..., or -nas.local/share/Video/....., which tells Windows which computer on the network to look for this file or folder. Unfortunately, there's no way to configure this (or I can't, because I haven't found these options), and Emby simply gives the wrong path for Windows. Please help me solve the problem, or contact Emby support, as they don't provide their email address either.
Luke 42077 Posted January 27 Posted January 27 Hi there, please attach the Emby server log from when the problem occurred: How to Report a Problem Thanks!
irenas 0 Posted January 27 Author Posted January 27 I'm not a specialist, so I don't know if this is what you're asking for, I'm sending you some embyserver.txt embyserver-63905062221.txt embyserver-63905068800.txt ffmpeg-transcode-b1d33841-187e-4327-b2d3-274bcd5f77f1_1.txt hardware_detection-63905063119.txt
Luke 42077 Posted January 27 Posted January 27 OK I think the plugin just needs a compatibility update. Thanks.
irenas 0 Posted January 27 Author Posted January 27 in what time can we expect the element to be improved?
Luke 42077 Posted January 28 Posted January 28 Hi, I don't have an ETA but this is on our to do list to look at. This plugin is more of a developer tool to be honest. Thanks.
