GabbaGool 1 Posted January 26 Posted January 26 I am trying to connect Emby via the Trakt plugin to Trakt.tv account but it's not allowing me to. It's telling me that y 8 character code is not valid. Any ideas?

In Emby, trakt settings, I selected Get Pin which prompted screenshot below -- I selected Yes which gave me the code (screenshot original post) nothing happened after that, so I went to Trakt.tv and tried to plug code into Activate Device. I did try again and no luck. The Emby screen did save but there's no Trakt connection.

In Emby, trakt settings, I selected Get Pin which prompted a trakt screen "Allow Emby to use your account" -- I selected Yes which gave me the code and told me to "Return to the app and enter this PIN to connect to your account. Each PIN is one time use." I went back to Emby plugged in the Code and hit Save. Nothing happens after that. From what I can tell there is not handshake between emby and trakt.

Yes, I did watch some shows and my expectation was that trakt would update and reflect my progress. For example, I'm watching the Rookie Season 8, I watched the first 4 episodes and still need to watch the 5th episode. In Emby, my progress is correct. It shows 4 watched and 1 not watched. However, in trakt it shows all 5 episodes not watched. I guess I'm expecting both apps to handshake with each other and sync.
dvitale71 1 Posted February 12 Posted February 12 I'm still trying to figure this out. Not sure why it doesn't recognize and sync. I uninstalled and reinstalled plugin to see if that would make a difference but no luck.

Luke 42268 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago The log seems to show that it was played by KENIDELV, but your screenshot shows that Trakt is setup for a user named Gabba-Gool.
