KingKahn 1 Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Hi, I would like to report a reproducible issue with auto-created movie collections. Summary: Newly created auto-collections do not download or assign any artwork (poster, fanart, logos), even though a valid TMDB Collection ID is present and metadata refresh completes without errors. Environment: - Emby Server: 4.9.3.0 - Platform: Linux (Synology NAS) - Installation: Native package (not Docker) - Library language: German - Collection type: Auto-Collections (Movies) - Metadata providers: TMDB enabled Expected behavior: When a new auto-collection is created, Emby should fetch and assign artwork from the metadata providers (as it did in earlier versions). Actual behavior: - Collection is created correctly - TMDB Collection ID is present in the collection metadata - Metadata refresh runs successfully - No artwork is downloaded or assigned to the collection - Server log shows no image provider activity for the collection Important observations: - This only affects newly created auto-collections - Older collections (created before ~1 month ago) still have artwork - Movies inside the collection fetch artwork correctly - Manual metadata refresh (including "Replace all images") does not trigger artwork download - No errors are logged Reproduction steps: 1. Enable auto-collections 2. Add movies that belong to a known TMDB collection 3. Let Emby create the collection automatically 4. Open the collection 5. Observe: no poster / fanart 6. Refresh metadata (full refresh, images included) 7. Observe logs: no image download for the collection Logs: Relevant log section shows: - RefreshItem Start / Complete for the collection - No "Downloading image for boxset" - No "Saving image to metadata/collections" Conclusion: This appears to be a regression or change in behavior for auto-collections. Artwork fetching for collections does not occur anymore, even with valid IDs. Please let me know if you need additional logs or a test setup. Thanks. log.txt
GrimReaper 4895 Posted January 25 Posted January 25 Is TMDB enabled in your Collections library (not Movie library)? If it is, try disabling/enabling it again. 1 1 1

KingKahn 1 Posted January 25 Author Posted January 25 (edited) Thanks, I hadn’t noticed that there is a separate Collections library. Everything is working again now. Edited January 25 by KingKahn 1
Flash314 0 Posted February 15 Posted February 15 Thanks for the help, this was exactly my problem. Why would this parameter change from one version to another?
