No issues, played media without issue. 21 Jan - 15:30 - updated server on MacoS, no problem, no logs created and media played successfully on the iMac. 21 Jan - 18:50 - LG App could not connect to the server. Checked the iMac, no issues, no logs, played media without issue. Returned to LG which now wanted the ip address of the server, user name and password. Subsequently played media without issue. Again no logs created other than listing the media I'd played with related times.
Luke 42156 Posted January 23 Posted January 23 @davide999 are you sure you’re using the correct server address? Try doing a new server connection in the app and manually entering the address. Please see if that helps. Thanks.
davide999 3 Posted February 22 Author Posted February 22 Problems connecting started here this last week. Updated the latest version in macOS this week and within a day or two updated macOS. Now the current App on LG TV takes a few minutes to connect. Once it's connected I will stream a programme from the Mac to the TV it will play for ~5 minutes then playback stops while more data is loaded into the buffer. After 1-2 minutes playback continues. Have made a fresh install of Emby on both the macOS and LG without solving the issue. Have spent the last day checking my network but found no issues. This morning as a test I installed another media player (***x) and it's being playing without issue from the same source to the same TV for over an hour
