Updated Emby Server and now no longer able to connect to server

I updated to the most recent version and now when I open emby server on Mac (Ventura 13.7.8) I get Safar can't connect to the server

 

Any help would be appreciated.

 

UPDATE: more info, this morning I noticed server showed to update so I did, which did not work, so I just deleted the EmbyServer update version and re-installed version 4.8.11.0 which works and shows no update needed.  

UPDATE 2: server now showing 4.9.3.0 is available,  so I downloaded the update for 10.13 , can you confirm the steps in order to update manually since I must have done something wrong previously. 

1) shutdown server

2) this is step that I need to confirm - do I delete the embyserver (previous version) from my applications folder or do I just move the new version downloaded in my downloads folder to the applications folder?

Hi you don’t need to delete it. You can just drag the new version into applications. Please see if that helps.

Thanks Luke, to confirm , the 10.13 download on the page is what I tried to install but I just noticed its a older version, should I be downloading the macOS 14+ X64 version for my Mac which is running Ventura 13.7.8?

That's a good question. I would try the 10.14 download and see if it lets you install. The 10.13 download is an older version of the server.

All good , it worked.  it's early, but it seems like a lot of my dis-connecting issues with Emby (and not being able to connect) for the last few weeks are gone with this update.
