pett67 0 Posted January 19 Posted January 19 (edited) Hi, I mounted an external storage as native G: drive in my windows PC. The drive doesn't show up in Emby library path, I try to enter the path manually, and it says the directory could not be found. Below is the screenshot. It's showing up in both Plex and Jellyfin server without problem. Wonder What is the issue here ? Thanks, Edited January 19 by pett67 typo

Luke 42077 Posted January 20 Posted January 20 Hi, are you sure your G drive was connected at the time? Can you also try typing in a subfolder underneath G, for example G:\Movies
pett67 0 Posted January 21 Author Posted January 21 Yes, G drive is connected, have also tried typing in a subfolder underneath G, showing the same error

It could be it's disconnected: can you check if you can directly access the drive with that drive letter? Your system has no permission: depending on your OS, drives can be set to use specific permissions. The drive exists, but EmbyServer isn't permitted to list/view it's contents. Another thing could be that Emby hasn't discovered the drive somehow, maybe a restart can fix this?
pett67 0 Posted January 21 Author Posted January 21 Hey, Yes, I can see and double click to enter the G drive under 'This PC'. My system is Windows 11, The remote is mounted using Rclone As mentioned, Both Plex and Jellyfin can see and add this drive as library path without problem. Additionally, Radarr and Sonarr can also select this drive as root folder, so do my download clients It seems to be a problem exclusive to Emby so far

Neminem 1518 Posted January 21 Posted January 21 How did you install Emby. Native installer or as a service?
