Subtitle offset memory?

I'm not sure if someone has already requested this, but I wanted to confirm that Emby not remembering the subtitle offset is an intended choice? 

I mean, I'm in the middle of watching The Godfather series right now, and every time I stop the movie and go back in to watch it if I don't sit and watch it the entire time, I have to reset the subtitle offset. 

Emby remembers where I was in the movie when I go back to play it, it remembers the subtitle I chose, why can't it remember the subtitle offset linked to that specific subtitle file?
