Android: Synced Lyrics stealing cursor focus in a hard to recover way

Had the pleasure of experiencing apple tv synced lyrcs on Apple music...its very good and a good source of inspiration.

 

Currently on the Android Client, the cursor is  'stolen' by synced lyrics moving line by line...when im normally about to click next track button.

Worst still, once the cursor is stolen you have to scroll all the way to bottom of the lyrics to get back to the control pane at the bottem eg. next track button.

Maybe left on lyrics could select album image to left....and down from there get back to the control pane.

Would prefer the synced lyrics not to steal the cursor.

The ability to jump to a line is somewhat useful (i guess, never use in pracice) , but that could come after the user intentionally moves curosr to lyrics i would have thought.
