TJDai 1 Posted January 16 Posted January 16 I don't know if this is a known behavior and if it's not an issue, or any idea on how to limit it: While watching LiveTV, there are temp files (TS) created by Emby server in the "transcode-temp" folder. Although the "Live stream buffer size" in the "Live TV - Advanced" setting was set to 1 hour, the number of temp files increase endlessly after 1 hour of Live TV watching. I found this out was because a live camera linked to the same NAS could not record anymore, its storage space is on the same disk as the Emby "transcode-temp" located. And the strange thing caused the "no space" is that the Live TV was played 2 days continuously in the background, I didn't intend to do so... none of my Emby clients was all the way on that Live TV channel in that 2 days. Maybe the last TV streaming process didn't cut off properly...? I had to restarted Emby server to stop it. it's about 20GB/hour for my case. And I verified it by playing 1 hour Live TV after restart, the "endless" appeared. Anyway, most important what I want is how to limit the "transcode-temp" folder usage. Server is now latest 4.9.3.0. Thanks.
Luke 42077 Posted January 16 Posted January 16 Hi there, let's look at an example. Please attach the information requested in how to report a media playback issue. Thanks!
