Optimising Emby with StableBit DrivePool - Tips

Does anyone here have StableBit DrivePool running on their Windows server? Are there any options that would allow me to further optimise EmbyServer?

If used in conjunction with an SSD/NVME drive as part of the pool, then there are some neat things you can do to effectively use that as a cache for the HDD's.   Emby have also implemented a cache of sorts now, so it's not as useful as it used to be (put the emby cache on a dedicated SSD/NVME, no need for it to be part of a pool) but it's still very useful for speeding up general pool usage.  This is the 'SSD Optimizer' in the Balancing options.

I have already integrated an SSD as a cache for the pool, namely this one:

It works wonderfully – but I have also found that StableBit DriveScanner is far from optimal when working with DrivePool. Especially not with 82 TB.

I use it but just with vanilla settings.  Haven't done anything special and it works great.

Well, with a good SSD and the appropriate settings, you can take it to a whole new level.
