Emby's Dynamic Music Playlist: Can I customize it to play only new tracks from my library?

In the world of media servers, Emby stands out for its advanced features. One such feature is the dynamic music playlist, which automatically shuffles music from my library. However, I've noticed that the playlist seems to repeat the same tracks frequently. Is there a way to customize it to play only new tracks that I've added to my library? Additionally, I've been looking for a way to personalize the playlist further, such as creating playlists based on genres or moods. Any help would be appreciated!

I'm not sure exactly what core dynamic function you are referring to (or if this is a genuine question from a real person - my apologies if you are a real person) but you could try the following:

• Go to Songs Menu Tab and sort your Songs by Date Added (newest to oldest)
• Select Shuffle
• Emby will currently select the first 300 Songs (i.e. you newest songs) and shuffle play these.

You can also readily create your own (non-smart non-dynamic) Playlists based on Genres or anything else you want to select from or create tags for yourself. There's also a couple of Smart Playlist plugins you could try and Smart Playlists are reportedly coming soon as a core function.
