Meanwhile things changed on the server it seems. This is working for me now:

Thanks for this set of rules, I've been trying to get them working for a few days now. The only small annoyance is that every time the Android mobile app is launched, I'm forced to re-login to Emby. Any ideas what might be causing that? This does not seem to happen on Android TV (Emby for Android TV app), or the iPadOS app.

Also, when using the mobile app on xOS and Android, I see a red error notification (image attached) on the following pages that reads "There was an error processing the request. Please try again later."

  • Home
    • Red error but page still functions.
  • Live TV > Programs
    • Red error but page still functions.
  • Live TV > Guide
    • Red error and does not function.
  • Live TV > Recordings
    • Red error and does not function.
  • Live TV > Schedule
    • Red error and does not function.
  • Music
    • No Music tabs work at all, however, the red error is only showing on Music > Albums. I know ``/emby/Audio/*`` is already included but I also tried ``/emby/Music/*`` and didn't have any additional luck.

I've also tried adding some additional rules for Guide, Recordings, etc just to see but still no luck.

@jonzey231That's a design flaw by Emby it seems.

Add /emby/LiveTV/* to the ruleset. But you need to keep /emby/LiveTv/* also for now until Luke answers the question.

Feel free to give the thread a like if you find the path exclusions as annoying as I do.

@LukeThis has nothing to do with server or app problem, as it's a Reverse proxy issue due to missing header authentication 😋 and therefor the need for path excemptions to bypass 2FA with the Emby App.
Is there a reason why /emby/LiveTV/Folder path is with a uppercase "V" and the rest of the paths with lowercase?

They should probably all be changed to lowercase but I would suggest treating that as case insensitive.
