iamfishcake 0 Posted January 13 Posted January 13 I seem to be having an issue direct streaming live TV from my HDHomeRun FLEX QUATRO on the Emby for Android app 3.5.16. My primary device is a Shield Pro 2019, but I've also tried the app directly on my Sony XH95 TV with the same result. For some reason, when attempting to play a 576i MPEG2VIDEO channel, the little loading spinner will appear and it will just sit there with a grey background for a good couple of minutes. It will then eventually play but display "Recovering from playback error" in the stream portion of the stats box. Playing 1080i channels seem to work fine. I can of course disable direct streaming which makes it work, but I'd rather not have it hit the server. Using an external player like VLC also seems to make it work, but the app switching isn't ideal. Live TV works everywhere else without an issue (Apple TV, iPhones, Windows, and MacOS). I'm guessing there is an issue with the built in player the Android app is using?
