@ebrThe latest stable server and standard Android app seem to be working fairly well fast forwarding an in progress recording on my ShieldTV. Only problem is that it freezes once it catches up with the live point. After that happens it's impossible to play the in progress recording. Are you all aware of this issue? Sorry, but I didn't grab loga when this happened yesterday.

Are you sure it freezes fully? I have Nvidia shield and when I fast forward past the catch up, you then only have to wait until the live feed "catches up". For example if I start a new Live TV feed and fast forward right away for 10 seconds, the stream "freezes" for 10 seconds, but once Live TV catches up to the point I it resumes play as normal. I do wish Emby would just disable being able to fast forward into the future of where the stream is at though.

Yea, I was about an hour in and the screen went black. I didn't wait long, but backed out when it froze. Tried to get back to the pause point, but I couldn't. It froze every time I tried to go back. I'll have to try waiting a full 10 seconds next time it happens.

I'm trying to watch an in-progress recording again and this time it won't start at all. The recording is about 3 hours so far and it just keeps spinning. I dropped the quality setting to 1080p - 4Mb and it still won't start.

This is really irritating. @Luke@ebr, can someone please fix this?

I restarted my server and upgraded so I don't have the logs. This isn't a new issue though Luke, you know that. Has anything been done to fix this issue?
