kbeck 64 Posted January 12 Posted January 12 So I see there is now an option to choose what is the default view in Mixed Libraries....... However the view now does away with the Movie/TV separate tabs. Am I missing something? There no use for 1 without the other.

daldana 122 Posted January 12 Posted January 12 I agree, I'd like to have the old separate tabs. It was nice to keep movies recorded from Live TV (with commercials) separate from TV shows and from the Movies library (which has ripped movies). 1

Might as well create 2 separate Libraries. Said it before.... for every step forward we go 2 steps backwards. Change for the sake of change benefits no one except those making the changes. Ask Congress.

How is combining the tabs making a mixed library useless? It is a mixed library and you now have mixed content showing in it. Having the options not align with the current tabs is a valid point, though.

I found the Mixed option because I wanted to created a combined space for the Marvel Cinematic Universe, but also was able to see the movies and TV shows separate. Now, they're all mixed together and the only way to see them apart is in Folder view which I'm not a fan of. What makes it worse is the ability to choose the default option was only recently added, maybe in the last update. The option was given and taken away at literally the same time.

By that logic there should be no tabs at all, just 1 big Library...... Everything. 1
