MKH42 2 Posted January 11 Posted January 11 (edited) As an Emby user who organizes various media types in a single library I want the Mixed Content library type to also recognize and display documents (e.g., PDFs, text files, office documents) so that I can manage and access all my media—including movies, series, and documents—within one unified library instead of separating them into different categories. Use Case Example Users often store additional materials alongside their media files—for example: slide decks or notes for recorded presentations larger background information, scripts, or production notes for films additional episode guides, research material, or companion documents for series These supporting files typically reside in the same directory as the corresponding videos. Without document support in Mixed Content, Emby hides these materials, making it harder to keep related content bundled and accessible in one place. Edited January 11 by MKH42 1

If I understood correctly, it goes in a similar direction, but they’re still two different things. My goal is to make documents visible and usable. A combination might be helpful. For example, a folder called 'Extras' could also display documents. M 1
