Erik 124 Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Hello, I am adding a TV series that has a Season 06 (aired version - 9 episodes) and Season 06 (unaired version - 12 episodes) and would like to have both exist for the same series (When Calls the Heart). episodes What is the best way to add this to Emby as I do not see this scenario the KB. Thanks
Erik 124 Posted January 11 Author Posted January 11 At the moment, no. The new elite boxes collection my wife got just came out last year and TVDB does not know about it at all (not the alternative season, or an extra episode in season 2). the originally aired season 06 has 9 episodes and the alternative has 12, so they are very different. I don’t mind having to manually add metadata, but no idea how to get it to live within the main TV show umbrella (if that’s even possible). otherwise I was thinking I would have to make a new tag show folder that cannot be identified and just has a season 6 in it… ?
Neminem 1518 Posted January 11 Posted January 11 are the 3 alternative episodes under extras on TVDB ?
Erik 124 Posted January 11 Author Posted January 11 3 minutes ago, Neminem said: are the 3 alternative episodes under extras on TVDB ? Hi, no TVDB hos the minimum shows and 4 specials. Which are not named the same or put together the same as the production company had the episodes. For example, almost all the specials are in two parts, but because they were aired back to back, TVDB shows it at one and I had to merge them together (as Emby doesn’t handle split episodes, unless that changed recently)
pwhodges 2012 Posted January 12 Posted January 12 I would put them in a separate series folder (and unselect the option for Emby to combine multiple folders of the same series), and have done this myself for a couple of series. Paul
