Hello,

A friend of mine uses the Fire TV Stick and always has to enter their username and password every time they start it up.

Is this always the case, or can you set it so that they only have to log in once?

Thank you.

Hi.  That app defaults to logging in as the last user.  Have him look in his startup settings in the app and make sure that's how it is still set.

They are BOTH the correct version. One is Mainline Android (for every single Android device), the other is Android TV (designed specifically for Android TV devices that don't have a touch screen or mouse (I am being very simplistic) ). It comes down to Mainline can be updated far more easily as it doesn't have to be certified. If you are having playback difficulties on AndroidTV, it is recommended to sideload the Mainline version as it will be more up to date.

So the right choice for FireCube would always be Android TV, is that right?   I mean, FireCube is operated specifically for a TV, no?  My phone would need the :"Mainline:" version, but my Firecube would only be using the Firecube remote.    Yes?

HI, you can use either one for the TV, although we recommend the mainline version.
