Hi,

I’d like to report an issue and also give some feedback regarding the Android versions of Emby.

I’m using an Android TV with a soundbar connected via optical cable. On the Android TV version of Emby, everything works correctly because there is a downmix audio option, so I get sound without any problem.

However, on the standard Android (mobile) version, there is no downmix option at all. As a result, I get no sound on movies and TV shows, and sometimes even a black screen depending on the audio format.

I find this quite disappointing, especially since on the Emby website and documentation, the Android version is often promoted alongside Android TV, but they don’t offer the same essential audio features.

It would be really helpful if the downmix option (or equivalent audio handling) could be added to the Android version as well, to ensure consistent behavior across platforms.

Thanks for your work, and I hope this can be considered in a future update.
