Robnaeyaert 17 Posted January 10 Posted January 10 Hello Emby A long while ago I had to side load Emby on my Samsung TV to get around the issue with Trailers not playing. That side load has now expired as Samsung somehow makes them not work after a month or so. I got tired of side loading and installed the app from the Samsung App Store. However that is v2.2.5 and that version still has they issue of not being able to play trailers. My question is, when will the fixed version be available on the Samsung store in New Zealand so we don’t have to keep side loading? It’s been ages so it seems confusing as to why the long wait please. thanks. Rob.

Typically how long does that process take with Samsung for the New Zealand store and do you have an approximate date for that to be released please?

Other times as long as two months. I think our submission has been in review for a couple weeks now. 1

Luke 42077 Posted January 18 Posted January 18 Samsung doesn't review all model years at the same time. They must have different teams handling it for different ranges of years. That's why the updates get released at different times depending on the model.

Hi @Lukeits been almost a month since my last post on this subject and still no upload on the Samsung Store for the later version to fix the Trailer issue. I know that might be out of your control given its Samsung but I'm perplexed as to why we are waiting so long for a simple update to fix the trailer play issue Any clue when those with a 2022 Samsung are going to get the fix through the store please?
