Martin_Emby 0 Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Hi folks, I'm a newbie here, so sorry for a huge amount of question. And I hope, that this brunch is suitable for all the thing, I'd like to clarify.
Martin_Emby 0 Posted January 6 Author Posted January 6 I installed Emby in Docker on an old weak NAS, so the goal was to sort all my movies. 1) So I'd like to disable transcoding. Is it possible to disable it completely? Or I have to do it per user like on the photo? https://emby.media/support/articles/images/server/users38.png https://emby.media/support/articles/Users.html 2) Where should I search, to clean all the staff generated by transcoding? At which folder? 3) I didn't find an option to disable all the remote connections to server. Could anyone explain a little bit about that? Is this a some kind of buit-in VPN? 4) Is there any kind of log rotation tool in Emby container? Or I have to configure it separately? 5) Where Emby stores all the data when working in Docker? What's the purpose of *.nfo files? My OS is running from USB and all the data folders should be on HDD. 6) Is it possible use Emby interface only as a catalogue and watch my movies through DLNA? Without load to my NAS. If so, could you please provide me with a link, how to configure that? 7) I faced with an issue Segmentation fault s6-svscanctl: fatal: unable to control /var/run/s6/services: supervisor not listening [cont-finish.d] executing container finish scripts... Theoretically it could be because of lack of memory (not enough because of amount of docker containers) I hope there will be no new issues. Thanks in advance for help.
