Oscar5150 0 Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Ok... so I have 3 devices connected and are still working fine. However I just got a new Android device and want to connect my Emby server. I go through the process of how I connected the last devices. Get the pin go to emby.media/pin , I enter the pin code and it says it was connected. However, NOTHING happens after this. Nothing connects at all, what is wrong. This way worked flawlessly before.

Luke 42077 Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Hi there, can you please describe what exactly happens when you try to connect? Thanks.
Oscar5150 0 Posted January 9 Author Posted January 9 on the browser when I connect via the PIN it says pin confirmed, thank you. Then on my Emby for android TV app on my streaming box nothing happens. I have to click next and it shows my server but won't connect to it
Oscar5150 0 Posted January 9 Author Posted January 9 It does not show anything there, well it shows my home server on the top, but it's not connected to it, if I click on that it asks for the password, when I put in the password, it says it's not the right password, I checked my home server the password is correct. Isn't it supposed to connect automatically after inputting the PIN? That's what I did on the other 3 devices I am connected to

If it isn't it probably means something is wrong with the address information being advertised by the server or something is blocking it. Can you try searching for our standard android app (Just "Emby" on Amazon and "Emby for Android on Google) on the same device's app store and see how that compares? Thanks.

I tried using that version of the APP and it's a totally different setup, and wouldn't work.
