Dave123321 5 Posted January 9 Posted January 9 Instead of showing the proper season folders and that's it, for some reason Emby creates a season entry for every other series I have on the server. One for each TV show. If I use the hamburger menu to delete the entry, it says it will delete the other series' folder. How can I stop this? I tried changing the folder name for the series to "24 (2001-2010)" from just "24" but that didn't change anything. Perhaps relatedly, I found someone else with a problem with a series that started with 24:

Happy2Play 9780 Posted January 9 Posted January 9 What is your folder structure? But sounds like there is a nested folder structure being mis-identified. 1
Dave123321 5 Posted January 9 Author Posted January 9 The folder structure is currently Television/24 (2001-2010)/Season 1, etc. (I normally don't put the year, but I tried it this time). I don't have any other subfolders in any of the Season folders. Just the video files and subtitles. I removed all the old .nfo files in case they were causing issues, and re-scanned the library. It still sets up 24 this way
Neminem 1518 Posted January 9 Posted January 9 (edited) TV Naming I use this naming for my tv shows. Folder : 24 (2001) [TvdbId=76290] Season folder : Season01 Media files : 24 - S01E01 - 1200 A.M. - 100 A.M [Bluray-1080p].mkv But this might confuse emby. 24 (2001-2010) And should it not be (2001-2014) ? 24 - TheTVDB.com Edited January 9 by Neminem Adding just for kicks 🤣😂
Dave123321 5 Posted January 9 Author Posted January 9 I've changed the series folder to "24 (2001) [TvdbId=76290]" and I'm scanning the library files now. I'll let you know if that does the trick! 1 1
Dave123321 5 Posted January 11 Author Posted January 11 It was me all along. Sigh. I recently transferred everything over to new storage and I must have accidentally started a copy from /Television *into* /Television on the new drive, creating /Television/Television/24 and empty folders for all the other series. So, if you're reading this because of a similar problem, check the path to your files! 2 1
