GhostZeta 0 Posted January 9 Author Posted January 9 maybe i've found the problem: when a Mixed content library only contains movies, the legacy folder seems not working when a Mixed content library contains both movies and series, the legacy folder seems working fine. the old folder view in emby 4.8 works fine when a Mixed content library only contains movies.
Luke 42077 Posted January 9 Posted January 9 HI there, can you please provide a specific example? How to Report a Problem Thanks !
GhostZeta 0 Posted January 10 Author Posted January 10 I set up a completely new Emby server using the latest version and created several media libraries for testing purposes. In a mixed content library that contains both movies and series, the legacy folder view almost works as expected, but movies can not display year and rating and others, while TV shows display correctly.Even after enabling the relevant settings, it’s clear from the images that there is a noticeable difference in how series and movies are displayed. In a mixed library that contains only movies and movies library, the legacy folder view does not work at all. To make the difference easier to spot, I intentionally renamed the movie folder names to Chinese. If the legacy folder view were working correctly, it should display the English metadata I selected, rather than the Chinese folder names. The main reason I use folder view for movies is that my movie library is organized into a two-level folder structure, with the top level being broad categories based on region or language. The second level contains the individual movies. As you can see, the folder view does not display the English title and year and rating; instead, it directly shows the Chinese folder names. This indicates that the legacy folder view is not functioning. and in 4.8, the folder view looks like this: everything is perfect embyserver.txt

Luke 42077 Posted January 20 Posted January 20 Can you please show the complete contents of the folder? Thanks.
