NAA67 12 Posted January 31 Posted January 31 Hola, tengo el mismo problema en mis dos TV LG, ambas están actualizadas? Hay alguna actualización nueva en curso? Como se puede volver atrás en una actualización de LG?
Iamweazel 0 Posted February 2 Posted February 2 Reverted to earlier version 4.9.10 and working ok. Did try latest beta but not fixed yet.
coolspot 22 Posted February 3 Author Posted February 3 (edited) @IamweazelWill you verify it's 4.9.10 that you're saying works? I'm not seeing that version on Releases · MediaBrowser/Emby.Releases to roll back to. EDIT: Disregard: I wasn't going back far enough, found 4.9.1.0-beta from back in May. I'm assuming that's what you meant? I'll try it when I get a chance. Let me know if anyone finds a newer version with it working. I went and tried a few December builds and still had the subtitles in upper left corner issue (maybe because of the LG app update afterall combined with server update?) Edited February 3 by coolspot
coolspot 22 Posted February 4 Author Posted February 4 Verified rollback to 4.9.1.0-beta fixed my subtitle issue, let me know if there's a newer version that's an option. 1
Cactus 16 Posted February 4 Posted February 4 (edited) Still not working with 4.10.0.2. Any more work being done on this? Edited February 4 by Cactus
coolspot 22 Posted February 5 Author Posted February 5 Think they're still working on this..related to an odd character in subtitle issue mentioned on other posts as well I believe. I rolled back to 4.9.1.0 until it's fixed.

coolspot 22 Posted February 6 Author Posted February 6 (edited) Ya it's odd. I think the problem just started in early January and I rolled back to a December build but still had the problem. There may be a newer version than 4.9.1.0 that it works on but I saw that build suggested and went with it after trying a few december betas without it working right. I bet they'll have it fixed in a week or two and then I'll upgrade. Might be some combination of the .49 LG update change as well as server changes that made me have to go further back to the 4.9.1.0 but just a wild guess. If anyone finds a newer version than 4.9.1.0 that works let me know. Edited February 6 by coolspot 1

I updated to beta 4.10.0.1 but the error was not corrected, and thanks to you it occurred to me to go down very low and install 4.9.1.0 and it works! Thank you! Hopefully it will be fixed in the next stable version of 4.10.
Cactus 16 Posted February 9 Posted February 9 4.9.1.90 (non beta) works. https://github.com/MediaBrowser/Emby.Releases/releases/tag/4.9.1.90 1
coolspot 22 Posted February 9 Author Posted February 9 Thanks, that's newer than what I've been running

NAA67 12 Posted Sunday at 01:59 PM Posted Sunday at 01:59 PM Does anyone know if the Beta version: v4.10.0.3 (2026/02/12) fixes this?

There's no mention of it in the change log. I'm also experiencing this. Kind of ruined a movie night with someone I only see every 3 months Didn't want to start messing around with downgrading the server while they were there. I hope it's fixed soon. NAA67 12 Posted Tuesday at 07:23 PM Posted Tuesday at 07:23 PM I confirm that version 4.10.0.3 BETA does NOT fix the subtitle problem, although version 4.10.0.2 BETA specifies that it fixes problems with subtitles, it seems that they are not these. It's already desperate, we've been like this for 6 weeks. @Lucas
