SumpnFishy 1 Posted January 6 Posted January 6 I play music a lot through Emby. Just today I noticed when displaying under something like "artist" I see the grid style of artists but the "jump to a letter" option with the alphabet on the left side disappeared. I swear it was there yesterday. Just checked and I show ver 4.1 build 52 of the Roku app. Did that accidentally get removed or am I crazy. Makes it hard for me as I have a lot of music on my system.
ebr 16168 Posted January 6 Posted January 6 Hi. How are your artists sorted? They have to be sorted by name for the alpha picker to work.
SumpnFishy 1 Posted January 7 Author Posted January 7 Normally, on this screen, I would see the alpha picker on the left side. They are in alphabetical order as you can see. It was there just a couple of days ago. It does show up fine on the right side on my windows Emby client. So nothing changed with the app lately? Seems odd.
SumpnFishy 1 Posted January 7 Author Posted January 7 Update: it does show up under the Folders view, which I just found accidentally, but not on any other menu choices. Is there a toggle to turn on or off that maybe I screwed up? I've looked under options but nothing jumps out at me. Thanks

Solution SumpnFishy 1 Posted January 7 Author Solution Posted January 7 OK. You got me digging around. For some reason on Album Artists for example, nothing was selected in the sort order (which is strange). Once I selected something the Alpha Sort shows up. So make a note: If nothing is selected in the sort, the Alpha Sort doesn't show up. How that happened is beyond me but now I know how to fix. Thank you for your help! Dennis 1
