Janik3258 0 Posted January 4 Posted January 4 Hi there, for about a month I have been experiencing intermittent playback issues with the Emby iPadOS app. During playback, the stream randomly stops. In some cases only the video freezes while the audio continues, and in other cases both video and audio stop completely. When this happens, the Play/Pause button often becomes unresponsive. However, using the skip back 10 seconds button usually resumes playback. These issues occur with .mp4 files that previously played without any problems using earlier app and server versions. I tested the playback while monitoring the logs and observed the following behavior: 11:23 – Video and audio playback stopped completely 11:26 – Video playback stopped, audio continued 11:27 – Video and audio stopped completely; Play/Pause button unresponsive, skipping back 10 seconds resumed playback 11:28 – Video and audio stopped completely; Play/Pause button was functional 11:33 – Video and audio stopped completely; Play/Pause button unresponsive, skipping back 10 seconds resumed playback Please let me know if you need any additional media information, or further details to help troubleshoot this issue. Thank you for your support. Best regards embyserver.txt hardware_detection-63903122425.txt
visproduction 315 Posted January 4 Posted January 4 (edited) Try connecting the iPad directly to the router / server with an Ethernet adapter and cable to see if Wifi is having some interference issue. Do you have admin rights to post videos? Try test videos to see if your video copies are either too large or have some unseen errors. https://thetestdata.com/sample-mp4-file-download.php From: https://duckduckgo.com/?q=video+test+mp4+download+sample&ia=web Edited January 4 by visproduction

Can you check if this is happening? If so, is your server struggling to keep up? Paul
