Randomly skipping forward

I’ve got an issue that’s started in the past couple of weeks where the video will skip forward / jump scene. A rough example but the film could be at 20 mins and it will jump to 40mins or further.

this only appears to be an issue with my Apple TV client.

No obviously sings of a button being accidentally pressed to trigger the event.

Is there any way to debug what requested the skip?
