Kiniu 22 Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Heu Guys. i have a problem sinds two days with a task "scan media library" it is stuck on 4.2% and wont go any further. i have tried to restart Emby restart nas and nothing helps. does anyone have any idea what to do?

Luke 42077 Posted January 3 Posted January 3 HI, you enabled video preview thumbnail generation. This is the reason for those log files, and this is also the main reason for your library scan taking a long time. If you recall, in Emby library setup you were warned that enabling it would lead to longer scan times. You may want to go back into the options for each library and consider disabling it, or having them be generated in the scheduled task only.
Kiniu 22 Posted January 3 Author Posted January 3 next thing i have noticed is that emby back up is also stuck. doesn't go and i don't know sinds when.... which creates a problem now for me. beside that everything is working fine, client apps as well.

Kiniu 22 Posted January 3 Author Posted January 3 Hey Luke, i went thru all my library options an not one have option video preview selected. i also turn off now this option in task scheduler, it was on daily trigger, but i don't remember to play with this, it was always like that i think.
