Lonald 10 Posted December 31, 2025 Posted December 31, 2025 The ability for movies to have a toggle switch for, say, 1080p and 4k is very useful. The music side of Emby would benefit from this as well. As a use example, I have a number of google linked audio devices in the house and use them to play whole house audio. The network can handle up to ~5 devices at 24/48 audio quality. When I go beyond this level, the network can't handle the load and it collapses. However, I have a main audio/video room with great acoustics and I enjoy listening to 24/192 level music. I also use DSF and DSD formatted files, but these have to played via a USB port either to the receiver directly or inserted into an SACD player. Or play a disc, of course. There's also remasters and all being done. I can't seem to get Emby to play nicely with attempts at folder naming and mp3 editing and I can't find a good support article on this. Could someone point me to where this is documented on how to get it done? Thanks!!!
Luke 42077 Posted January 10 Posted January 10 HI, if you have multiple versions of the same track, they will currently all be displayed together as one album (if same album). We may expand on these features in future updates. What you could do for now to separate them is give them different album tags.
