My AI vision for Emby

As with any system, Emby has to adopt new technologies at some time. I'm not saying the time is now.

I still believe that most of the information and processing should stay local. Of course we need to access other systems for metadata, remote access  or Premiere.

I would love to run some AI models locally. Some possibilities for AI include:

• Reading the titles at the end of a movie/show to extract/complement some metadata that is not available online
• If no subtitles are available, generate them realtime
• I know 3D is not a big thing anymore, but with VR glasses, it is better than ever, it can be 4K, HDR and with the Moon Player, it can render anything in 3D realtime
• Better suggestions for media to watch
• Upscaling of the content
