Android TV Video Clip Problem

J’ai un problème avec le lecteur de clips vidéo sur Android TV, et uniquement sur cet appareil.

J’ai un dossier Clips Vidéo que j’ai créé dans ma médiathèque.

Sur mon serveur, j’ai des dossiers classés par années puis par artistes, et c’est dans ces dossiers que je mets les clips vidéo.

Je viens d’acheter une TV TCL P81K. Concernant l’application Emby sur la TV, aucun souci : tout fonctionne parfaitement, sauf la lecture des clips vidéo à partir de la catégorie Genres.

Sur mes autres appareils, je vais dans Genres, je sélectionne le dossier que je veux lire, et j’ai les options Lire et Aléatoire. Là, les clips du répertoire se lisent normalement (vidéo et audio). "Image 1"

Sur Emby sur ma TV, j’ai le même menu (présenté différemment, mais ce n’est pas un problème) "image2". Par contre, quand je lance Lire ou Aléatoire, une fenêtre s’ouvre… et il n’y a ni son ni image.

J’ai beau avancer, changer de piste, rien ne se passe. Les jaquettes s’affichent, mais c’est tout. "image3"

Ça ressemble plutôt à un lecteur audio qu’à un lecteur vidéo, mais sans le son. La barre de défilement ne bouge pas. Pourtant, dans la gestion du serveur, tout semble normal (lecture directe).

Tout fonctionne parfaitement sur PC, smartphone et Smart TV (LG, Samsung).

 

I have an issue with the video clip player on Android TV, and only on this device.

I have a “Video Clips” folder that I created in my media library.

On my server, I have folders organized by year and then by artist, and that’s where I store the video clips.

I recently bought a TCL P81K TV. As for the Emby app on the TV, everything works perfectly except for playing video clips from the Genres category.

On my other devices, I go into Genres, select the folder I want to play, and I get the Play and Shuffle options. The clips in the folder play normally (video and audio)."Image 1"

On Emby on my TV, I have the same menu (laid out differently, but that’s not an issue) "image2". However, when I select Play or Shuffle, a window opens… and there is no sound and no video. I can try skipping forward or changing tracks, but nothing happens. The covers appear, but that’s it."image3"

It looks more like an audio player than a video player, but without sound. The progress bar doesn’t move. Yet on the server dashboard, everything appears normal (direct play).

Everything works perfectly on PC, smartphone, and Smart TVs (LG, Samsung).

Hi.  Can you try searching for our standard android app (Just "Emby" on Amazon and "Emby for Android on Google) on the same device's app store and see how that compares?

Hello ebr, thank you for your quick response. I did what you advised and it works.

I haven't tested everything, but my problem is solved.

Should I do anything else or just keep this version and stop using the other one?

And if so, why are there two versions for Android TVs?
