Tile view for the folder screen would be nice.

I think a tile view option for the home screen would be useful.

I have 13 folders currently, and the scroll ribbon is kind of a pain.

I know I can reorganize the folders, but it would be nice to see them all on 1 page.

Also, what client as normally there is no scroll on My Media Row except in specific conditions.

As my test system has 54 libraries shown with no scroll.

Perhaps you would like the "My Media (small)" option in your home screen settings?

I do get more on the screen, but only 4 titles across.

Did you manually create each row?

The screen you show is exactly what I would like to see, but the Roku units will not display that method, only the long ribbon along the top.

"Tiles" refers to a screen where all items are displayed.

ebr's pic is a good example of a tiled screen.

Yes that view is available in almost all client but the Roku as it is its own nightmare for design.

What view do you have?

All I did was click user icon-App Setting-Home Screen-then the Home Screen section you have My Media in and changed to My Media (Small)

No not TV Mode as you have the sidebar but what is your screen resolution or possibly zoom/scaling?  As it looks like a resolution restriction per css.

Yup you nailed it.

The screen on the server PC is 1024x768.

On my Graphics PC it is 1920x1080, and it does indeed have all the folders listed in both "My Media" and :My Media Small"

It is strange that there is no wrap around on the lower resolution.

I guess this for web clients as you probably need something like 80 instead of 100em for wrap.

I have the emby for android app 3.5.16 installed on my shield pro, and while viewing on my 4K 65" tv with the "My Media (small)" option enabled I still have to scroll to the right to see all of the folder tiles. I currently have 15 folder tiles, 8 tiles in the top row and 7 in the 2nd row, but only the first 4 tiles of each row are visible without scrolling to the right.

Dev would have to confirm but think this is just the design for this app as I see the same on my Tablet testing 3.5.21in TV and non-TV mode.

Thanks for the reply, I was wondering if it was a limitation specific to the app.

I have no idea how difficult it would be to implement but it would be nice if the end user could set custom grid layouts for the home screen. The way I have things set up now my home screen is three quarters empty as I only use "section 1" of the home screen for my media. I don't use live tv, collections, continue watching, listening etc. So with "My Media" I have 15 folder icons in a single row (only 5 visible from the home screen) or with "My Media (small)" I have 2 rows of tiles (only 4 tiles visible per row). That means there is a lot of unused screen space that could be utilized instead of forcing me to scroll to the sides.

It may be possible to let it expand if there is only one section on home.  However, I would imagine that is VERY rare and also encourage you to try out some of the other sections like Continue Watching as I think they will improve your experience quite a bit.

I only use Emby to stream movies from my synology nas so that makes most of the home screen options pointless for me. A feature like "Continue watching" serves no purpose for me as I never watch part of a movie and then need to finish watching it at a later time. Not to mention I could always just locate the movie in its folder and resume from there.

Yep, the only thing I have on my home screen is My Media in section 1. The other sections are all set to none as I just don't use or have any need for them.
