Emby App on Roku has selection Box shifted off screen

I have Emby server running on my network, and it is working fantastic.

The only issue I have is that when I use the Roku app to select the folder, the green highlight box is off the left side of the screen to the point where I can only see the right most green border of the selection box.

This happens on one of Roku units, model number 3920X. The other one displays properly.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

All your apps on that Roku should show similar issue with extreme cropping.

What is the resolution of the TV? Do you have zoom mode enabled on the TV?

If you reboot/restart the Roku does it fix the issue like the thread above has?

That TV looks like it supports 720p or 1080p. The Emby Roku app will work on either resolution. It should just work, but it only will if detected correctly.

If you force a reboot of the Roku and then make sure the display is at the correct size 720/1080/4K it should fix the problem. After changing the display setting on the Roku restart the Roku again so the HDMI chain to the TV gets reset. That should solve the problem.

The TV is running at 1080P. No zoom is enabled, in fact when using HDMI on this set, it is not possible to adjust zoom at all.

Everything has gone through several resets.

The problem follows the Roku box. I set it up on a known good TV that had a different Roku on it, and it also cropped the the edge of the home screen.

OK, I found the source of the issue.

It is the horizontal scroll option. If it is set to fixed, the selection box goes off screen. Set it back to floating and it returns to the first on screen box.

This anomaly exists in both my Roku units.

Are you sure?  Because I can see in your picture that the padding around the app display is definitely cut off.

However, this isn't the main problem as you've found out.  If you add another row to your home screen, does the problem go away with the fixed scrolling?

OK, this TV is an older LCD one so the screen is more like a CRT, with overscan areas. The edges are always slightly inward on everything it shows.

Secondly, the issue is still there with a second row present, although the second row is not offset to the left.

The first pic is with fixed (offscreen), and the second is with floating (fully onscreen).

If you move to the second row and back, it fixes itself, right?
