NakedPirate 15 Posted December 27, 2025 Posted December 27, 2025 (edited) Anybody without the problem: "There was an error processing the request" out there with the new version? Please tell with your TV model info... I want to know if it's a widespread problem or not. But I guess I won't try the update until a new version - better save than sorry.... kjhedges 67 Posted December 27, 2025 Posted December 27, 2025 Although, its very rare on my LG since latest update, it does happen now the same as the android app
Luke 42077 Posted December 28, 2025 Posted December 28, 2025 Hi there, please attach the Emby server log from when the problem occurred: How to Report a Problem Thanks!
NakedPirate 15 Posted December 28, 2025 Author Posted December 28, 2025 I get that devs need logs to track down causes, but I'll be damned to install a faulty version that seems to ruin the basic function of the app. Give me the "1.0.47.ipk" to sideload and I will test the new x.49 and provide logs. I find myself wondering if the emby team is aware of the problem that possibly all LG users who already (auto)updated are in the dark at the moment? Therefore my question: Is there anybody out there with a working Version 1.0.49?
SamES 1056 Posted December 28, 2025 Posted December 28, 2025 I don't think it's all users. Definitely working fine for me. It's either related to specific TV models or a particular server configuration. If someone that has this issue wants to provide me with a remote user account via PM I'm happy to try and remotely debug this issue.
PPisti7204 1 Posted December 28, 2025 Posted December 28, 2025 (edited) It works perfectly for me also on my LG OLED77G2 and on my friends OLED77G5. Server version on my TerraMaster F4-425 Plus NAS: 4.9.4.1 beta (Premiere). Latest WebOS 25 on both TV's. And finally, the most important thing: the subtitles finally work perfectly (both burned-in and external). P.S.: I tried it on my other, old TV (OLED65C8) and it works without any problems on WiFi. As I wrote, I'm the one who has it working perfectly on 3 LG TVs, without any problems! Both local and remote playback is fine from the TerraMaster NAS. Edited December 29, 2025 by PPisti7204
