Juanrendon 4 Posted December 29, 2025 Posted December 29, 2025 Hi, I have the same problem, but why don't they fix it with a simple patch, or by reverting to the previous version?
Juanrendon 4 Posted December 29, 2025 Posted December 29, 2025 Good afternoon, I'm having the same problem here. Is there a link where we can check when the problem has been fixed? I'm currently having to use Plex and I prefer to use Emby.
Obom2 2 Posted December 30, 2025 Posted December 30, 2025 Yes, it works for me too via the web interface

I just tested it on the LG TV's browser and it works correctly: I'm sending the player info. Emby Web 4.9.3.2 Chrome LG TV Device: "LG Smart TV (43UM7100PSA)" (Release 2019) I should mention that I did some research on my own, and I found that a friend's LG TV did play the same content from the same server using the same user account. using Emby for LG version 1.0.49, Device: LG Smart TV (OLED55C4PSA.DWMQLJR) (Release 2024) I don't know if it has anything to do with the year the devices were released, but it seemed strange to me that it works on one and not on another; it still doesn't work on my TV. Karsta62 3 Posted December 31, 2025 Posted December 31, 2025 Please make the previous version available until the new one gets fixed. Using a TV-browser with a remote is PITA. No matter what you use it for...
Luke 42077 Posted December 31, 2025 Posted December 31, 2025 Is everyone here with this issue on a 2018-2019 set? We're working to get a fix out as quickly as we possibly can. Thanks. 1 1

Luke 42077 Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Hi, just wanted to update everyone. We are in process of submitting an update to LG that should resolve this. Thanks. 4

We are bugging them to try and we expedite although I don’t know yet if that will help speed things up.
