Doesn't matter what file I try to play, getting "Playback Error...." As far as I know: 1. Last night all worked fine before the update. 2. Doesn't matter if I try to play a file from history or fresh. 3. I re-install app on the LG TV, but nothing helped. 4. Check the server lates version. 5. Reboot Synology (DS420+) 6. I also try to play the same file on my PC and another TV. Another TV has Nvidia Shield Pro, and both are working fine. This tells me issue with the latest app for the LG TV update. I don't understand why you want logs from everyone, when we all write to you that after the Emby update the application no longer works on LG TV?! It's clear that this is a bad update, so please, downgrade to the previous version until you get things working. Before you put something into production, test it, please. The fact that we all have the same error means that the thing wasn't even tested before you released the update. 3

You're always heteronomously at the mercy of others, can't even roll back or sideload. That's why I never ever will abandon PC and Raspberry, devices I have full access and root over and take the TV as what it should be: A dumb monitor, who can't spy and can't dominate me. Even if I should hose the whole system and there's no backup, I can reinstall the OS in minutes, Windows a bit longer... 1

I did not look inside the log very closely, but it's for sure that the failure, or several failures, happened during that log and should be in there.. I can't help more if it's not written to it. Every normal software company will immediately roll back an update if it completly breaks the application. The amount of feedback here is proof enough that this update is bad. Emby devs charge money, operate closed source but refuse to help. If it was open source at least someone else could fix it quickly. 1

Here is some info for my setup: 1. Server on Synology DS420+ 2 TV LG TV - issue (LG 49SM8600PUA Nano 8 Series 49" 4K Ultra HD Smart LED NanoCell TV (2019)) 3. NVIDIA Shield PRO on old Samsung TV - Working fine. 4. All video files in MP4 H264 format with AC3 Audio. As far as resolution, it is mixed, anything from 480p to 2060p. That is our hosted web app and should be largely the same as the LG app. If you can reproduce there, then we can update that quickly to show more error information that might help us track this down.
