I'm having the same issue as the comment above from tjb.

Tried on a couple different LG TVs this morning and it's coming up with 'There was an error processing the request. Please try again later." when trying to go into anything from the home screen.

Hello, Same issue. How can it be solved?

Same issue here, LG TV also!
Doesn't play anything; movie / Live TV.

In the logs, I only see "authentication" no logs about attempting to play anything. It was working a few days ago, and it is not right now.

I'm away from my laptop right now. Can anyone else seeing this issue share the log Luke requested?

As an additional note, I’ve tested server versions 4.9.1.80 and 4.8.10.0 and the issue persists. It’s worth noting that this is happening specifically with Emby for LG version 1.0.49

@Luke

Quite strange but unfortunately there is no trace at all in the log file attempting to play anything thus there is nothing to attach.

It seems there is no activity at all - completly empty.

I've also updated server to 4.9.1.90 - same issue

I have two LG TVs.
One with Emby version 1.0.49 which doesn't work after the update, and another LG TV which I didn't update, Emby works on it

As a quick solution the devs should roll back the update and put the old version on LG store again. I think in case of a breaking bug this should be possible instantly without re-verfication by LG.

Hi there, please still attach the emby server log anyway from when the problem occurred. Thanks.

Luke, what's wrong with your thinking? All the posts above show that the thing stops working when updated to 1.0.49. If there is no update, it works! What kind of log do you need?! Suggestions like rollback apparently fall on deaf ears? The situation hasn't been working for the whole weekend, and you're talking about forwarding logs? Come on. Install Jellyfin or Plex - apparently that will be the only solution.

BTW,
does it affect many Spanish-speaking users this time or is this just coincidence or cognitive bias?

I think a dev cannot instantly roll back an app.
You have to submit a new or the previous "stable" version to go through the whole app approval process again which takes weeks again...
