Navigation bug now in LG App 1.0.49 too :-(

Hi Emby-Team,

congrats, you made it to transport an bug I've already reported regarding the Android App / FireTV App now to the LG TV App too 😞

 

This is really annoying because there is no easy way to downgrade to the former version 😞

The error message appears when navigating through top level navigation with "TV mode home screen = Horizontal" selected.

Here the screenshot of the exact same error the now appears in LG App 1.0.49

I reported this problem in October and I am told every time that it is being worked on. Unfortunately, a real solution is still lacking.

Yep 100% been a bug on Android app for past 5 versions or so.

NEVER got it before that. You just navigate from library to library and the big red banner comes up.

I keep up to date on Android (same result on fire stick 4K Max and a separate Freely puck device from NetGem).

Do not update on LG anymore unless I know the release is Ok as so many "back door" changes crept in with no upfront release notes or prior warning. Can't trust blindly updating anymore. Not updated to 1.0.49 here as yet.

Latest LG app update (1.0.49) broke the app. Same error as OP.

Is there at least a temporary solution? Android app works fine for me.

LG TV App 1.0.50 not available on my LG 77C4 ?!? Other LG TVs already got it.

in the meantime LG TV App 1.0.50 found it's way to the 2024 models

Navigation bug semms to be solved
