cineversenas 0 Posted December 23, 2025 Posted December 23, 2025 I use Emby as my main media server and I would like to report a limitation in the TV show rewatch experience. When a TV series has already been fully watched and a user decides to rewatch it from the beginning, Emby does not automatically suggest the next episode in the “Continue Watching / Next Up” section, even if the user watches episode 1 and then closes the app. At the moment, the only solution is to manually reset the series as “unwatched”, which is not intuitive for all users (family members, guests, or less experienced users). It would be very helpful to introduce a feature such as: “Restart series” / “Rewatch mode” or an automatic behavior that, when a previously watched episode is played again from the beginning, treats the series as “in progress” and suggests the next episodes. This would make Emby much easier to use and closer to the experience of mainstream streaming platforms. Thank you for your time and for the great work on the project. Kind regards
