ZLuckyTraveler 0 Posted December 22, 2025 Posted December 22, 2025 (edited) If I try to change a movies poster it only shows 1 poster option. It is the exact same poster for every single movie for every library. It’s almost like it’s either showing the wrong image. Even if I select this wrong poster, it will give the loading circle indefinitely and never update. I have tried using numerous different devices, browsers, and even tried using different networks to make sure this isn’t a caching issue and have also tried restarting the server. This issue just randomly started. I was in the process of updating posters for movies which was working fine and then all the sudden when I tried to do another one this happened. In addition this isn’t just happening for movie libraries but also TV libraries which shows the exact same poster. It’s been like this for around a week so far. Luke 42077 Posted December 22, 2025 Posted December 22, 2025 HI there, can you please provide a specific example? How to Report a Problem Thanks !
Luke 42077 Posted December 22, 2025 Posted December 22, 2025 Also what metadata and image fetchers are enabled on the library?

Luke 42077 Posted December 23, 2025 Posted December 23, 2025 So the issue is that at the end of the video, when you search for images on the internet, you see 6 of the same poster, is that right? Looks like five of those are from MovieDb and one is from Omdb. Did you compare to what posters MovieDb has for that title?
Luke 42077 Posted December 23, 2025 Posted December 23, 2025 Also when you search for images for the Devil's climb, it looks like it's showing some of the wrong images. Try using the metadata editor on Devil's Climb and check all of the values in the External Ids section. Are they correct?

No that’s not the issue. For every single movie and tv show I have it only shows those exact same posters no matter what. Those posters are not related to any of them at all. As shown in the screen recording for 3 different movies, but I have hundreds of movies and shows and the only option is that exact same poster for all of them. Checked metadata and it is all correct including external ID’s. Even when new brand media is added, metadata is correct and shows correct poster, but if I try to change it won’t show anything different. Edited December 23, 2025 by ZLuckyTraveler

Thanks. I went through all the metadata. It is what it is supposed to be. It’s 100% correct and matches up to IMDB/TMDB/TVDB for the specified title of the media and NOT what that poster shows. I have thousands of movies, metadata matching is not an issue and it’s all correctly identified, as I use proper file naming. I’m not new to managing metadata, storage, or Emby servers.
Luke 42077 Posted December 23, 2025 Posted December 23, 2025 Hi there, please attach the Emby server log from when the problem occurred: How to Report a Problem Thanks!
