Live TV recording options, etc.

I'm a lifelong Plex user just switching to Emby because of all the recent changes over there. I have a couple questions/comments about Emby:

I record some daily shows for later viewing like the morning news. I only want to have the one, latest episode available and once I've seen it, I want to delete it. I see where I can specify that I only want to keep one episode, but In Plex, there's an option about when to automatically delete a show. There's also the option of what to do about deleting commercials. I don't see how to do either of these in Emby.

Also, on my Roku devices, there are NO options available when recording a series. I have to log in with my PC to do the recording in the Windows version. On my Fire TV, the options ARE available only after it was scheduled to record so you have to go back in to do it. Is this just a missing feature (for now) in Roku? And are the various versions of Emby going to be standardized ever?
