Abnormal recognition of special episode airing order

Is the “special airs after episode xx” rule for specials not always effective? I have two series whose specials are both marked on TVDB with information about when they air, but only one of them is recognized by Emby. I specifically disabled all other metadata providers to make sure Emby was only using TVDB data, yet the result is still the same.

HI, currently the server only imports that information for specials on tvdb that are marked as critical to the story.

For anime you are better off doing it manually as TVDB people are morons and they can't do anything right. Just take a look at One Piece and how they messed everything up.

In fact, I know this from experience: whether it’s TMDB or TVDB, they stubbornly stick to their own “principles,” which, in my opinion, don’t serve the interests of most people. I’m a fan of the Monogatari series, and I know they’ve both messed it up. I would only use this approach for shows that I’m sure TVDB handles well—it would save me some time. But since Emby doesn’t support it for now, I’m considering writing a script to handle it myself. Thanks for your suggestion!

TVDB's "Book" order for Monogatari would be perfect (IMHO), but Emby doesn't yet support any orders beyond Broadcast, DVD and Absolute - it's a pain (for that and a few other series).

I also think it’s very suitable. However, in TMDB’s Simplified Chinese language version(tv/300822), there’s a guy who uploaded an entry following the anime’s broadcast order. I’m using it now for perfect scraping—it’s been a huge help. But I don’t know how long this entry will last (before, other people did the same, but their entries were deleted by the admins not long after).
