Emby clients all of a sudden started limiting video bitrate to 455 Kb/s

I am getting different outcome now when forcing transcode which i need to look into and follow up on

AndroidTV Beta 2.1.30 App Playback set at 720 Kbits/sec. User Account Auto Remote Streaming Limit set to 0.5 Mbps. Displayed Quality during playback when remote shows as 700 Kb/s and not 500 Kbs. Don;t know if it is a bug or just rounding / approximation of quality setting

No, there are no assumptions at all.  The app does an actual bitrate test by downloading content.

Odd.  When I run Ookla speed test I consistently get about 970 Mbps down and 980 Mbps up.  That's from the HTPC in the living room and regardless of me being on the IoT or Main VLAN/Subnet.

@pclausenDid you check what this new setting is set at for the user account? could it have been inadvertantly set to 0.5 Mbps?

That field is blank (and always was).  I just change these parameters to the following:

I'm not at home right now, but once I get back, I'll try flipping some streaming devices in the living room back to the IoT subnet to see if the rate limiting kicks back in again or not.

I was wrong here - the new setting is clearly stated as applying to "Auto" Quality setting = so this was an invalid test

Auto remote streaming quality (Mbps)

An optional streaming quality for this user when they have the player set to auto quality. This will override any automatic quality detection for this user on all devices.
