Hello
Found out that if emby work for a while (day and more) RAM fills to limit

In processes found that started many same emby processes

Is that normal?

I suspect this may be related to the computer going to sleep and there being an issue when it comes off sleep

Interesting that each log file for 15th and 16th and 17th does not go all the way to midnight when logs rotate but instead have nothing logged for the evening

Also these gaps in time here suggests that may the computer is sleeping

Look into power management and as this is a server, you should disable it and see if that stops the multiple processes being started

You will need to manually kill all these processes

Are you showing threads in htop? That seems normal. Press shift+h to hide them.

Linux should normally use max half of the available memory for anything cache related and will release it if needed.

Thank You for stepping in.

Confusing when they show up as if having different PID numbers. I would have expected a TID column!

Mb 4gb not enough for cache

Later try to increase

Seems that cache not increase performance

Start or fastforward of videos lags

Are you having problems with Emby and playback? What is it that you're trying to solve?

Not a problem

Seems my usb storage not enough read speed

And some times delays appears on playback

Later install drive normally in m2 slot

Initial problem (that not problem) was with many entries in htop

And all solved now
