Emby didn't record game.

Curious on how this game didn't get recorded. Attached are the logs.

What's weird in the logs of December 16th is that the only basketball game scheduled to record is 34 hours away at 5:30pm on December 17th. If that was the only game scheduled why did the game on the 16th show the red dot? Not sure what else the devs will need to troubleshoot, @Luke? Below is the log entry I mentioned;

At 14:47 and 14:48 there were two series recordings deleted. what were those?

It was me cleaning up my DVR folder. I have been going through the process of switch DVR from Plex to Emby. I am not sure what exactly was delete at that time. but to be clear the recording for that circled game was after that time frame by multiple hours right?

Yes but maybe it was cancelled. In any case, I can't determine from the log why it didn't record so we will have to add more logging for the next release and then catch it if it happens again.

I didn't realize you can cancel an individual episodes in a series you have setup. For this particular instance I wouldn't see any of my users doing that as this game was on a secondary channel.

Is cancelling a recording logged at all? And then is there a way to enable users to create DVR recordings, but not allow them to delete ones, or only delete ones they created?

n the actual log file, yes, but only at the time of cancellation. If something was cancelled and you don't know who did it or when it happened, there currently isn't anything beyond the log file to help answer that.
