Emby Server 4.9.0.42 High CPU Usage: Realtime Monitor Loop After Library Scan (Found extra ThemeSong)

Problem Description (as requested):

After the Realtime Monitor triggers and successfully completes a new media item entry into the library, the server immediately enters a loop of repeatedly logging the message Found extra ThemeSong. During this loop, the CPU usage consistently spikes to 100% (full load) and remains there. The high CPU usage only stops upon restarting the Emby server.

Server Configuration & Context:

• Realtime Monitor: This feature must be enabled on the media library in question.

• Theme Song Downloads: "Download theme songs" is disabled in the library settings.

• Local Asset Reading: I have been unable to locate any UI setting under Console > Metadata > Local Media Assets that allows me to specifically disable the reading/processing of "Theme Song" assets.

• Plugins: No dedicated Theme Song plugins are installed.

• Media Location: Media is accessed via STRM files, with local metadata files (e.g., NFO files) present on the server.

Core Issue & Request for Help:

The persistent loop of Found extra ThemeSong indicates a conflict where the Realtime Monitor repeatedly detects and attempts to process an issue related to local theme song assets or metadata references. This processing fails to terminate, leading to CPU saturation.

Since I cannot disable the Realtime Monitor, I require a definitive method to stop Emby from processing local theme song assets/references.

Is there a hidden setting, a configuration file parameter, or a known workaround in Emby Server 4.9.0.42 to permanently disable the Local Media Assets extractor from handling Theme Song data?

Wow that's an old Beta, current stabil is 4.9.1.90

Consider to update your server.

But since these errore look like plugin errors, either disable the plugin or ask for advice in that plugin's forum topic.

I would update then re-evaluate.

There is no settings for Emby to not use local assets ie images/metadata/themes/extras.

I guess on could use the "ignore" feature for subfoldered items but you still need to update to newest version for changes that have happened with "embyignore" file now.
